The Freak Scene Film Festival is a yearly film festival curated by our team, focused on up and coming indie filmmakers.

Our festival has played films by artists from a wide variety of backgrounds, from established showrunners to first time filmmakers.

Our top priority is a fun and inclusive experience, no awards, no fluff, just creators showing off their work.

We only accept short films, of less than 20 minutes in length.

Any genre of film is eligible for consideration, however we do ask that the film be completed within the last year.

We are hosted at the Yard Theater in beautiful Virgil Village, Los Angeles California.

We expect to sell out, so please get your tickets fast on release!
